There are several ways introductions may occur:
1. Internal Database Introductions
When I identify two active members who appear to be compatible, I may facilitate an introduction directly within The Bashert Exchange.
2. Professional Matchmaking Collaborations
I actively share profiles with trusted professional matchmakers and collaboration groups throughout the country.
If a matchmaker believes one of their clients may be a fit for one of our members, they reach out to discuss a potential introduction.
3. Shared Matchmaking CRM
The Bashert Exchange participates in professional matchmaking networks and shared CRM systems where approved matchmakers can view profiles and contact me if they identify a potential match for one of their clients.
4. Matchmaker Requests
Professional matchmakers frequently post requests on behalf of their clients. When I see a member who may be a strong fit, I proactively reach out to the matchmaker to discuss a possible introduction.

The Bashert Exchange facilitates introductions and collaborates with professional matchmakers, but it is not a traditional concierge matchmaking service.
Our role is to identify potential opportunities, make introductions when appropriate, advocate for our members within our professional network, and collaborate with trusted colleagues throughout the matchmaking industry.
We cannot guarantee introductions, mutual interest, attraction, chemistry, or relationship outcomes. Our goal is to create opportunities and expand our members' access to quality potential matches.
The Bashert Exchange was created to provide Jewish singles with access to professional networks, introductions, and opportunities at a significantly lower cost.
-
There is no guaranteed number of introductions.
Some members receive multiple introductions, while others may receive none during their active membership period. The number of introductions depends on compatibility, availability of potential matches, geographic preferences, age ranges, mutual interest, timing, and other factors outside our control.
-
Every member's experience is different.
Some members receive introductions quickly. Others may take longer depending on:
Age range
Geographic preferences
Religious preferences
Lifestyle compatibility
Timing
Availability of suitable matches
The absence of an introduction does not mean that your profile is not being considered.
In many cases, profiles are reviewed by matchmakers, collaborators, or potential matches who ultimately decide not to move forward. Those opportunities are often invisible to members but are still part of the process.

No.
All members sign a waiver and membership agreement acknowledging that the fee is non-refundable.
The fee becomes earned when the intake process, profile creation, profile posting, profile promotion, and related services have been completed.
Because these services are performed regardless of whether a match occurs, refunds are not available.
-
Members will be contacted when there is meaningful information to share.
Because much of the work occurs behind the scenes, there may be periods where no updates are available. During those periods, your profile may still be under consideration, being discussed with collaborators, being presented to professional matchmakers, or being reviewed for potential opportunities.
We do not provide ongoing status reports simply to confirm that work is being performed. If there is meaningful news, a potential introduction, or an opportunity to discuss, we will contact you.
Our time is best spent identifying matches, collaborating with professionals, recruiting qualified members, and creating opportunities for introductions.
-
Your active membership transitions to passive status.
You remain part of The Bashert Exchange and may continue to be considered for introductions and opportunities as they arise.
-
If you no longer wish to participate, please email TammySalis318@gmail.com and formally request removal from the database.
We respect every member's decision and will promptly honor removal requests.
